CRANBERRY TWP — The PNC Bank on Freedom Road has been damaged by a pickup truck that drove into the structure about 9 a.m. today.

The truck is entirely inside the bank that is between Route 19 and a Sheetz store.

Rescuers were able to get the driver from the car. A witness said the driver was in and out of consciousness and had his foot pressing the accelerator. That caused at least one of the truck’s tires to catch fire from the spinning. The witness said he turned off the ignition.
