Slippery Rock baseball advances
Slippery Rock catcher Zach Van Dyke applied a tag to Ty'Shon Law during the team's 1-0 win over Oil City Wednesday.
The Slippery Rock High School baseball team Wednesday afternoon defeated Oil City, 1-0, in District 10 Class 4A playoffs at Jack Critchfield Park.
Gunner Becker tossed a complete-game 4-hitter and drove in game's lone run in 1st inning. Slippery rock is 18-2 and has won 12 in a row.
They advance to a semifinal game.
