Shirley Mae Fisher

Shirley Mae Fisher, 84, of Deltona, Fla., passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, in Deltona, following a period of declining health.

She was born in July 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Nettie Whitenack.

She formerly worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a residential services aide, retiring after 19 years of service.

Shirley enjoyed sewing, quilting and reupholstering furniture. She also enjoyed bingo, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed life, and made friends quickly, many of which have remained friends for life.

Shirley is survived by a son, James Arnold of Wadsworth, Ohio; and her daughters, Cindy (Joe) Parsons of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Robin (Anthony) Gillotti of DeBary, Fla., and Shara (Michael) Savasta of Deltona, Fla.; as well as a daughter-in-law, Marsha Fisher of Mount Dora, Fla.

In addition, she is also survived by six grandchildren, Angie Arnold, Jeremy Kimes, Kristen Compton, Ryan Fisher, Nicole Savasta and Melisa Savasta.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Harry Fisher; her son, Kerry Fisher; a grandson, Brent Fisher; and a brother, Larry Whitenack.

FISHER — A memorial/celebration of life for Shirley Mae Fisher, who died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.

Arrangements are by BALDAUFF FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Orange City, Fla.
