Rodney Hollobaugh

Rodney Hollobaugh

Rodney “Beatle” Miles Hollobaugh, 65, of Worthington, was lovingly lifted into the Savior's arms on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, surrounded by his family, hearing the precious words of Scripture and his dear mother's voice of love.

Rodney was known by all as “Beatle” his entire life. He was born in Kittanning on July 11, 1956, and was the devoted son of Paul G. Hollobaugh and Louave (Mohney) Hollobaugh.

He graduated from East Brady High School in 1975, and worked at Dennis Filges Inc., and The Orchards of Saxonburg.

Beatle enjoyed hunting and camping, and sports, with his favorite being baseball, especially the years coaching in the Worthington Little League. The best times were spent with all of his wonderful family and friends. He had the best sense of humor that kept everyone laughing.

Beatle cherished his wife and children, and they in turn reciprocated that great love. He married his beloved wife, Judy (Bicker) Hollobaugh, on Sept. 23, 1976. The Lord blessed them with 45 years of love, laughter and joy. Their joy was increased with the birth of their two sons, Joshua David of Worthington and Jacob Miles (Jacey) of Kittanning. Then came the ultimate joy and blessing of three grandsons, Jace, Jakobi and Jaxx, whom he adored.

His memory will forever live on by his loving family in his children, grandchildren, four great-nieces, numerous friends and his precious mother, Louave of Sherrett; his sister, Joyce Appel (Paul Henry); his brother, Tom (Dianne) Hollobaugh of Butler; his nephews, Chris (Tiffany) Appel of Orlando, Fla., Dustin Appel of Miami, Fla., Todd (Sarah) Hollobaugh of Erie, and Chad (Taylor) Hollobaugh of Kittanning; and his loving father-in-law, Donald Bicker of Sarver.

He was preceded in death by his father.

To God be the glory for all the blessings he has bestowed upon this family. We thank Him for the kindness and care that was given from Amedisys, Hillman, Butler Oncology and all who were involved and touched by this dear man's life, as he fought the fight of brain cancer; and for the prayers that were lifted up on his behalf from all people. We praise His holy name as His love shone through in Rodney's life!
