Butler City Council at Friday’s meeting praised two organizations for making donations to the city.
- Councilman Kenny Bonus said American Legion Post 117 made a donation toward the hiring of seasonal employees for the street department.
- Councilman Jeff Smith said VFW Joseph T. Black Post 249 contributed to the cost of repairing a wheel on the cannon at Doughboy Park.
