Edward R. Zollner

Edward R. Zollner, 70, of Penn Township, died on Jan. 5, 2022.

Born June 29, 1951, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Virginia Wickstrom Zollner and the late Edward J. Zollner.

He was the beloved husband for five years and companion for 25 years of Beth Ann Lang.

He was the loving father of Zachariah (Amy) Zollner and Zara (Anthony) Scozzaro; the brother of Ronald Zollner and Terry (Shelley) Zollner; and the proud grandfather of Owen and Eli Zollner.

Ed was originally a special education teacher, and worked for many years with Westinghouse in the NDT nuclear field.

He continued to teach and mentor countless friends and colleagues in both education and nuclear fields, and in everyday matters of life.

Ed was the kindest, nicest person, always fun-loving, welcoming, generous with his time, endlessly giving, and always was seen with a smile.

He will be dearly missed.

ZOLLNER — There will be no viewing or services at this time for Edward R. Zollner, who died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Arrangements are being handled by Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Bakerstown.
