Edward Goldscheitter
Edward Julius Goldscheitter, 60, of Cisco, Texas, and formerly of Clinton Township, passed away unexpectedly in his home Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, due to natural causes.
Born Aug. 27, 1960, in Harrison Township, he was the son to Edward F. Goldscheitter of Clinton Township and the late Carol Rita (Krumenacker) Goldscheitter.
Edward has lived the past 23 years in Texas and prior to that a number of years in Georgia. He was a self-employed dairy farmer and of the Catholic Faith. Edward graduated from Knoch High School in 1978, and he will be forever remembered for his kindness, gentle nature and love of farming.
Edward is survived by his father, Edward F. Goldscheitter of Clinton Township; siblings, Maureen (Terry) Conner of Mercer, Carolyn (Robert) Piskor of Tarentum, Thomas (Kathy) Goldscheitter of Winfield Township, Maria (Gary) Vacca of Clinton Township, William (Gerri) Goldscheitter of Clinton Township, Barbara (Dennis) Cornetti of Clinton Township, James A. (Cheri) Goldscheitter of Clinton Township, and Linda (Tim) Orban of Houston, Texas. Also surviving are 23 nieces and nephews and their families, including two great-nephews, countless extended family and friends; and former wife, Theresa Maurer; and her children, Adam and Katie.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol (Krumenacker) Goldscheitter.
Goldscheitter — Visitation for Edward Julius Goldscheitter, who died Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Duster Funeral Home, 347 E. 10th Ave, Tarentum.
A Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
