Jennifer L. Bowser
Jennifer L. Bowser, 50, of Bruin, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 25, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Jennifer was born Aug. 18, 1970, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late William and Carol Fritz Derberry.
She attended school in Butler.
Jennifer was a baptized Catholic.
She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and most especially the company of her grandkids. She was a homemaker and mother. In her earlier years, she had been employed as a CNA at the Chicora Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie L. Bowser, whom she married in Karns City on Nov. 8, 1997. Mr. Bowser passed away on Aug. 27, 2020.
Surviving are three children, Brittnee M. Derberry of East Brady, Joshua J. Snow of Fairview, and Lauren L. Bowser and her fiancé, Dylan Schlagel, of Bruin; her four grandkids, who were the love of her life, Landen, Arabella, Cayson and Coleson; her brother, Bill Helzer of Butler; three sisters, Barbara Derberry of Pittsburgh, Renee Leitem and her husband, Glenn, of Chicora, and Dorothy Snow of Butler; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
BOWSER — Friends of Jennifer L. Bowser, who died Tuesday, May 25, 2021, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Floyd Barnhart, pastor of the Bruin United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.
