M. Frank Burns
M. Frank Burns, 82, of Cranberry Township passed away Thursday in the comfort of his home and surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 12, 1935, in Wind Ridge, Greene County, Frank was the son of the late Morris A. and Irene Wiley Burns.
Frank was the owner and founder of State Pipe Services, headquartered in Cranberry Township, for over 46 years.
He was a member of Plains Presbyterian Church.
Frank will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 63 years, Marilyn Smith Burns; his children, David Jay Burns of Cranberry Township, Scott F. (Valorie) Burns of Renfrew and Amy D. (Lee) Orr of Cranberry Township; his eight grandchildren, Erin, Laura, Austin, Scott, Adam, William, Kendra and Daniel; his 10 great-grandchildren, Marcus, Kayla, Allison, Ava, Riley, Shelby, Savanna, Gabrielle, Jaxon and Miranda; his siblings, James Burns and John Burns of Waynesburg and Sue Mazzei of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and his loyal friend and business colleague, Tom Morris.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his son, Michael Burns; his brother, Jack Burns; a daughter-in-law, Leslie; and two grandsons, Benjamin and Mark.
BURNS — Friends of M. Frank Burns, who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Boylan-Glenn Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.Additional visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
