Ken,

You left me seven long years ago but it feels more like 100 years ago. The saying “it will get better” has not held true for me. Yes, I smile and laugh but my heart is not here - my heart is gone with you. I can’t even begin to explain the every day pain and loss that I feel. This would be unimaginable to anyone else.

We now have SIX BEAUTIFUL Grandbabies - you would be SO PROUD of each of them. Not a moment of my day goes by without me wishing that you could be here to watch these babies grow. I talk to them about you, but they will never see your smile or hear your laugh. They never had a chance to know you but we all know that they are missing having the Best Grandpap in the World.
