John A. Barbati Jr.

John A. Barbati Jr., 71, of Butler passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021.

He was born Sept. 28, 1949, in Butler, and was the son of the late John and Margaret (Spina) Barbati Sr.

John enjoyed bowling with the Troy Allen League, coaching his son's baseball teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers, drag racing, his dogs and driving his Corvette.

He was the father of John W. (Kelley) Barbati and Brian Barbati; and the brother of Karen (Francis) Dero and Diane (Andrew) Weintraub.

John is also survived by his grandchildren, Makayla and Hunter; three nephews; and a niece.

BARBATI — Friends of John A. Barbati Jr., who died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A blessing service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
