Park rangers in McConnells Mill State Park continued their search Wednesday for a man who fell into Slippery Rock Creek over the weekend.

For the fifth day, state park rangers searched for 38-year-old Jeffery Hanby II, according to Dustin Drew, the park’s manager.

Hanby reportedly fell into the Slippery Rock Creek below the damn while hiking at the state park in Lawrence County.

A rotation of park rangers spent the past week searching the creek’s banks for any sign of Hanby’s fate.

Drew reported that as of Wednesday afternoon, no discoveries had been made, adding that search operations would continue until dusk and resume Thursday morning if necessary.
