Joanne Gates

Joanne Gates, 81, of Butler, passed away on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021.

She was born May 31, 1940, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of the late Leo and Pansy Kelly.

Joanne was a born again Christian and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She was known to be very spiritual. She also loved cats and animals.

Joanne was the mother of Amy (Michael) Massey, Audrey Kasmarik and Jason (Rebecca) Shirley; sister of Pat Chomiak; grandmother of Joshua, Nathaniel, Lucas, Sam, Samantha and Kaitlynn; and the great-grandmother of Kevin and Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd; her brother, Richard Kelly; and grandson, Anthony Kasmarik.
