Norma A. Rape
Norma A. Rape, 94, of Parma, Ohio, formerly of Mars and Evans City, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, while under the care of Parma Community General Hospital.
Born July 7, 1927, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late George and Vira DeMarco.
Norma was a former member of St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church in Evans City, and St. Kilian Parish in Cranberry Township, where she enjoyed helping with church activities.
Norma leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Bonnie (Jim) Snyder, Glenn (Lil) Franceschina and Karen Henderson; her stepchildren, Jay (Amy) Rape, Tim (Pam) Rape and Linda (Bill) Erwin; her six grandchildren; her 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Rose Foerster; her brother-in-law, Dick Hawkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis Franceschina; her second husband, Merle Rape; her brothers, Mario DeMarco and Joseph DeMarco; and her sister, Irene Hawkins.
RAPE — Friends of Norma A. Rape, who died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
She will be laid to rest at Mars Cemetery.
