Woman injured after falling from horse in Slippery Rock Township
A woman sustained a possible collar bone fracture after falling from a horse Wednesday evening, Sept. 30, in Slippery Rock Township, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch recordings.
Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team responded at about 7 p.m. to the 600 block of Franklin Road for the 48-year-old woman.
The woman was transported to AHN Grove City Hospital. Due to the terrain where she was injured, the fire company used a Stokes basket to extract the patient.
