The Prospect Community Library, 357 Main St, Prospect, will hold a book sale Oct. 8-10.

The sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8; from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9; and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 10.

Adult books range from 50 cents to $1; children’s books from 25 to 50 cents; DVDs, CDs and audiobooks cost $1; and baked goods are $1 per bag. On Friday, attendees of the book sale have a chance to win a free bag of books every half hour. Saturday is $5 bag day, where shoppers can fill a bag with books for $5.
