Lancaster Township will kick off its Community Day with a flag ceremony honoring veterans, active-duty military members and first responders from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Four Springs Park.

This year’s event will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. The flag-raising ceremony will center on the newly installed flagpole at the park, 1004 W. Lancaster Road. Community members are invited to attend and join the township in honoring those who have served and continue to serve.

Following the flag ceremony, Community Day will continue with a variety of activities for the entire family, including bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, craft vendors and food.
