Gregory Miller
Gregory J. “Greg” Miller, 72, of East Butler, passed away Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, at Quality Life Services — Sugar Creek, surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 4, 1954, in Bradford, Pa., he was the son of the late Floyd J. and Peggy O. (Haught) Miller.
A 1973 graduate of Moniteau High School, Greg was a mechanic and driver for Marburger Dairy for many years. In earlier years, he owned and operated Millers Garage in East Butler. Greg was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Chicora. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Greg is survived by his wife, Daneen Lee McCommon Miller, of East Butler, whom he married Feb. 13, 1982; two daughters, Tricia Ekis (Rich), of Butler, and Courtney Miller (Mike), of Rochester; and one son, Gregory Miller Jr. (Crystal Minda), of East Butler.
He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Greg was preceded in death by two brothers, one grandson and one granddaughter.
MILLER — Friends of Gregory J. “Greg” Miller, who died Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, PA 16061.
Additional visitation will be held from noon until the time of services at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Zion Lutheran Church, 266 Zion Church Road, Chicora, with the Rev. Bill Oehlschlager officiating.
Burial will follow in Zion Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to William F. Young Funeral Home to assist the family.
