Butler American Legion observing 9/11
American Legion Post 117 is having a memorial ceremony for Sept. 11, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11.
The post, according to Dean Noechel, will also cease all activity to honor and remember the lives lost on Sept. 11. Noechel also said the commander of the post will give a short speech.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event at 413 S. Main St., Butler.
