Harold ‘Ham’ Hamilton

Harold W. “Ham” Hamilton, 73, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, at Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing at Harmony.

Born Aug. 28, 1953, in Butler, he was the son of John Hamilton and Rosemary Strobel Hamilton.

Ham worked as a delivery driver and salesman for Miller’s Meats for over 40 years, during which time he met lifelong friends while providing goods and services to fairs and events throughout the tri-state area and eventually retiring from Marburger Dairy after 13 years.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, where he had served as Eucharistic minister and also as a Sunday school teacher for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and especially enjoyed meeting and talking to people wherever he went.

Surviving are his wife, Colleen Hamilton, whom he married Aug. 7, 1976; three sons, William C. (Erica) Hamilton, of Slippery Rock, Jonathan L. (Jessica) Hamilton, of Butler, and Robert J. (Bobbi) Hamilton, of Emlenton; his sister, Vicki Beck, of Bradenton, Fla.; eight grandchildren, William, Jonathan, Corbin, Lillian, Archer, Gracie, Noah and Tucker; his sister-in-law, Cynthia Christy, of Butler; his brother-in-law, Jeff Lucco, of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

HAMILTON — Friends of Harold W. “Ham” Hamilton, who died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at the funeral home, with Father Harry Bielewicz officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
