Here’s the trio who won this year’s Butler Country Club tennis pro-am
Tennis pro Severin Harmon teamed with club members Katie Diehl and Ralph Kuhn to win the 24th annual Butler Country Club Tennis Pro-Am Sunday at the BCC courts.
The trio tallied 13 points in a round-robin format that featured each pro playing doubles with his respective male and female teammates.
The eight-team event featured three siblings — Lizzie, Allie and Mark Swift. Mark was BCC’s 18U club champion this year, while Lizzie is tennis team captain at Franciscan University and Allie plays for Aquinas Academy.
Natalie Jenner, who played for Ithaca College, was the only female playing in the event’s male division Sunday.
The field also included Logan Cutts playing with Emily Ivory and Matt Allen; pro Braiden Smalley with Allie and Mark Swift; pro Will Bojalad with Libby and Doug Harmon; pro Will Kleeman with Nance Conlon and Matt Diehl; pros Dave Bender and Kumar Simms with Lizzie Swift and Jenner; pro Johan Harmon with Joanna Fisher and Connor McGee; and pro Jeremy Baumwell with Maria Hayden and Dan Craig.
