Armstrong begins Avenge Hunger campaign
Butler-based telecommunications company Armstrong is launching its ninth annual Avenge Hunger Month campaign to fight hunger across its service area.
Throughout the campaign, Armstrong locations will collect nonperishable food items and monetary donations to support community feeding programs.
Resources gathered during the drive will help stock more than 200 feeding programs across Armstrong’s footprint in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, West Virginia, Maryland and Kentucky.
The 2026 collection drive begins Aug. 24 and runs through Oct. 4.
Over the past eight years, Avenge Hunger Month has generated nearly 240,000 pounds of food and more than $136,000 in monetary donations.
