Interstate 79 traffic to be restricted near Wexford this weekend
Motorists on Interstate 79 Friday and Saturday, Aug. 29 and 30, could see delays in Marshall Township and Franklin Park because of road work.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced restrictions I-79 from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday, when the northbound lane will be reduced to a single-lane of traffic between the off and on-ramps at the Exit 73 interchange. From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, the eastbound lane of Route 910 will have lane restrictions controlled by flaggers between Nicholson Road and the I-79 southbound on and off-ramps.
When the work is completed, traffic from Route 910 to the northbound I-79 on-ramp will be switched to the temporary ramp and eastbound Route 910 traffic will no longer be shifted, according to PennDOT.
