Parking and traffic restrictions will be in place Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29, while Butler Italian Days takes place.

According to Butler police Chief Bob O’Neill, East Diamond Street will close to parking from noon Friday to 10 p.m. Saturday.

There will be no parking on Main Street between Wayne and Cunningham streets from noon to 11 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.

A portion of Main Street will close to traffic from 3 to 11 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.

Detours will be in place around the festival, with southbound traffic detoured at Jefferson Street and northbound traffic at Wayne Street, O’Neill said.
