Alameda Waterpark will be restricted to dogs Sunday, Aug. 30.

Poolside Pups is the annual closing event for the water park’s season, giving dogs the chance to swim in the pool. The event takes place from noon to 3 p.m. at Alameda Waterpark. Admission is $10 per canine.

Lifeguards will be on duty and the play stations will be on. Dog owners need a copy of their pet’s license and a copy of their current vaccination records to gain entry to the park. All dogs will need their distemper-parvo, rabies and Bordetella vaccinations.

Each owner can bring up to two dogs, and each dog must have a completed registration form before gaining entry into the event. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations and license.
