More rolling closures are scheduled to hit Route 422 in Butler and Summit townships according to the state Department of Transportation, for the Shearer Bridge Preservation Project.

There will be intermittent rolling closures in 15-minute intervals from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 31 on Route 422 east with an alternative date of Sept. 1.

The rolling closure will occur on Route 422 east with a crash truck stopping all traffic to initiate the closure about 1 mile in advance at the Route 8 interchange.
