Mae Ritson

Mae Ritson, of Butler Township, celebrated her 100th birthday earlier this month on a Royal Caribbean cruise to Mexico with 20 family members.

The former Mae Lewis was born on Aug. 25, 1926, in Renfrew.

She married Joseph J. Ritson Jr. He is deceased.

Ritson has four children, Elaine (John) Atkinson of Spring, Texas, and Tyke (Wes) Vaughn, Joe (Trish) Ritson and Jean (Bob) Snyder, all of Butler.

She also has nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and her loving dog, Lucy.

She retired from retail in 1987.

She is a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church on Staley Avenue.
