The Master Gardeners are leading a garden transformation event Thursday, Aug. 27.

The Penn State Extension Master Gardener Program of Butler County will teach people how to transform their gardens into pollinator paradise.

Featuring a garden tour and educational presentation, this event will take place at 6 p.m. Aug. 27, starting at the Veterans Pavilion at Slippery Rock Area Parks and Recreation, 320 North Main Street, Slippery Rock.

This event demonstrates the principles of pollinator-friendly gardening. Master Gardeners will discuss how to design, establish and maintain a garden that supports pollinators throughout the growing season.

This event is free, but space is limited.
