Helgeson

Kim Elaine Helgeson, 67, of Butler, passed away Monday, Aug. 17, 2026, while under the care of Kadima at New Castle.

Born Jan. 23, 1959, in New London, Conn., she was the daughter of the late Karl and Sheila (Neilan) Helgeson.

Kim enjoyed gardening and making stained glass art. She especially had a soft spot for animals, as she owned cats and parrots. Above all, she loved her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “MeMaw.”

Kim leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Nicole Babusci (Matthew) and Davis Watson; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Nolan and Stella Babusci; and her brothers, Neil (Susan) and Eric Helgeson.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Helgeson.

HELGESON — Services for Kim Elaine Helgeson, who died Monday, Aug. 17, 2026, will be held privately by her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kim’s memory to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.

Private arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
