EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Two people suffered injuries and were transported to area hospitals from a head-on, two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon, Aug. 15, on Whitestown Road in Butler Township, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch reports.

The call came in around 4 p.m. for a crash at 330 Whitestown Road. Butler Ambulance Service and East Butler EMS transported the patients to hospitals, according to dispatch.

Whitestown Road was closed for a period of time following the crash

Butler Township Volunteer Fire District and VA Butler Fire and Emergency Services also responded.
