Raymond E. “Ray” Fuller Jr., 82, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026.

Born June 5, 1944, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Raymond and Nora (Albaugh) Fuller.

Ray proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. After his service, he became a plumber with Local 27 until his retirement. Ray was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Butler. He had a servants heart and was always willing and able to help anyone in need.

Ray was pivotal in helping raise his grandchildren, whom he cherished more than anything. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting and camping. Above all else, Ray loved spending his time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ethel Mae (Brown) Fuller; his son, Ricky Fuller; his daughter, Christine (Bill) Cochran; five grandchildren, Jarrod, Travis, Adam, Jacob and Ava; six great-grandchildren; his brother, Clay (Terry); and his sister, Lyla.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Fred; and his daughter-in-law, Sylvia.

FULLER — Family and friends of Raymond E. “Ray” Fuller Jr., who died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, are invited to remember him at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., Butler. His funeral service is to be officiated by Pastor David Maitland.

He will be laid to rest privately at Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
