Pandemic finger-pointing is pointless
The COVID-19 pandemic was an extremely sad American event. It was new and scary. Many cases resulted in death.
Other countries were in the same fix. No one really knew how to control the spread. Many things were tried by many countries. Blaming those who were trying one thing or another to control it is wrong.
One prominently high American leader even inanely and publicly pondered about people injecting disinfectant. There were then reports of the number of household disinfectant poisonings going up.
Many were dismayed at that senseless suggestion. Why isn’t he taken to court for that or his many disreputable insults to the American people?
