Linda L. Faltenovich, 74, of Zelienople, formerly of Mars and North Hills, passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 8, 2026, at Passavant Retirement Community, with her family by her side.

Born in Pittsburgh on Nov. 11, 1951, she was the daughter of Mary Smith Barkus and the late Robert Barkus.

Linda had worked as a nurse at several locations in the area, including St. John Specialty Care Center and Pittsburgh Rehab, in Monroeville.

She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township.

Surviving are a daughter, Megan Becker (Adam), of Valencia; a son, William Faltenovich (Margaret), of Baden; her grandchildren, Haley and Peyton Faltenovich and Joshua Becker; her mother, Mary Barkus, of Mars; three brothers, Robert Barkus Jr., of Butler, Gary Barkus (Janet), of Valencia, and Matthew Barkus, of Mars; three sisters, Daina Morrow (Stan), of Pittsburgh, Marianne Sullivan (Mike), of Cranberry Township, and Jacquelyn Holmes (Daric), of Seven Fields; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Faltenovich Sr.; a son, Robert “Bobby” Faltenovich; a grandson, Nathan Faltenovich; her father, Robert Barkus Sr.; and her brother, Rick Barkus.

FALTENOVICH — Arrangements for Linda L. Faltenovich, who died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, are private under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
