Brandi Novosel
Brandi (Plaisted) Novosel, 35, of Butler, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, and went to join her beloved Poppy in heaven.
Known affectionately by those closest to her as “B.T.,” Brandi was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Her radiant smile could brighten any room and her kind heart, unwavering compassion and deep love for her family defined the way she lived each day.
Brandi was the beloved daughter of Jacquelyn (Plaisted) Gorman and Andy Fiechuk, both of Butler. She was the devoted wife of Frank Novosel III; and the proud, loving mother of Benjamin Alexandar and Hunter Novosel, who were the center of her world.
Brandi had a servant’s heart. She worked as a compassionate home health aide, lovingly caring for her stepmother and was excitedly working toward opening her own mobile notary business. She was also an active member of the Family Readiness Group (FRG), proudly supporting military families and especially her husband, who serves with the 377th Engineer Company. Brandi was incredibly proud of Frank’s service and dedication.
Her greatest joys in life were found in the simple moments — spending time with her family, listening to music and making Dunkin’ runs, especially with her sister. She fiercely advocated for her children, celebrated every milestone in their lives and poured her heart into making them feel loved, supported and encouraged. Family was everything to Brandi and those who knew her will remember her selflessness, infectious smile and ability to make others feel welcome and cared for.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Frank Novosel III; her cherished sons, Benjamin Alexandar and Hunter Novosel; her mother, Jacquelyn (Plaisted) Gorman and stepfather, Larry Gorman; her father, Andy Fiechuk; her stepmother, Christie McFarland; her sister, Marissa Whipple; her stepbrothers, Arian Gorman, Lawson Gorman and Alex Gorman; her stepsister, Avery McFarland; her maternal grandmother, Carla Iannotti-Plaisted; her husband’s parents, Frank Jr. and Jackie Novosel; her sister-in-law, Renee Novosel; her nephews, Mason Kissick, Ethan Kissick and Elijah Swinger; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her love.
Brandi was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jack “Poppy” Plaisted; her paternal grandmother, Roxxane Carr; and her paternal grandfather, Tom “Pappy Tom” Fiechuk.
Although her time on earth was far too short, Brandi’s legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely, the family she cherished beyond measure and the countless memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.
“And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18
