Police: Man charged after stealing 25 Tonka trucks, other items

A Slippery Rock man is facing charges after police say he stole 25 Tonka trucks, a golf pump, a Sunoco sign and a scale and sold them to a scrapyard.

Justin William Ealy, 39, was charged with 27 counts of third-degree felony receiving stolen property following an incident in October 2025.

On Oct. 15, Stephen Tenney reported to police he received a call from Don Keene, of Keene Scrap Metal, to ask if he was interested in purchasing the trucks, pump, sign and scale, state police said.

Tenney told Keene the items were stolen from his property along Kiester Road. According to police, Keene told Tenney the items were purchased from Ealy.

Police contacted Nate Crispin, an employee of Keene Scrap Metal, to obtain camera footage and a receipt of Ealy’s sale.

Police said on Oct. 17, Crispin sent a copy of the receipt as well as camera footage of Ealy dropping off the Tonka trucks and gas pump.

Ealy’s preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
