Gerald ‘Jerry’ Halli
Gerald Edward “Jerry” Halli, 79, of Zelienople, passed away peacefully under hospice care, on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
Born Nov. 26, 1946, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Albert Leo Halli Jr. and Catherine Marcella (Lay) Halli.
Jerry graduated from Hampton High School. He served six years in the Air National Guard. Jerry battled valiantly against his cancer until the very end. He was a very tough and strong man but still held a great kindness. In his free time, he loved tinkering on cars and fixing things — he could never sit still. Above all else, Jerry loved spending time with his family.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Dan Halli, Darren Halli and Tiffani (Michael) Waltemire; his grandchildren, Ethan Rearick, and Cael and Colton Waltemire; his brothers, Wayne Peter (Georgia) Halli and Ronald James (Donna) Halli; his nieces, Jennifer and Lauren Halli; and his former partner and good friend, Glenda (Tim) Hartwick.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his niece, Michele Halli; and his beloved golden retriever, Rocky.
HALLI — A celebration of life for Gerald Edward “Jerry” Halli, who died Thursday, July 30, 2026, will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jerry’s memory to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053, and the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
