Peggy Weisser, 75, of Cranberry Township, passed away at home surrounded by all her loved ones Friday, July 24, 2026, after an extended illness.

Born Nov. 13, 1950, in Pittsburgh, Peggy was the daughter of the late Julius and Frances Phillips Gombkoto. She married James Weisser April 14, 1973. Family was the most important thing in Peggy’s life. She loved to cook for them and she loved to spend as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be missed by her husband, James, of Cranberry Township; her two daughters, Carrie Weisser, of Ellwood City, and Kimberly (John) Henke, of Harmony; two brothers, Richard (MaryAnne) Gombkoto, of Pittsburgh, and Butch Gombkoto, of Kinsman, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Tyler Schmidt, Kayla Fazenbaker, Kylie Harkins, Taylor Christy, Courtney Simmons, Kaitlyn Weisser, Alexander Weisser and Isabella Weisser; and eight great-grandchildren, Kaden, Gary, Cooper, Kellan, Willa, Niko, Kace and Wes.

WEISSER — Private family services for Peggy Weisser, who died Friday, July 24, 2026, will be held at a later date.
