VA Butler Healthcare shares infrastructure improvements plan

VA Butler Healthcare announced plans for projects it will pursue using part of a $4.8 billion nationwide modernization initiative.

According to a news release, the system aims to renovate the pharmacy at Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center at a cost of $1.8 million, as well as replace the VA Butler Fire and Emergency Services’ station roof at a cost of $100,000.

“This funding allows the VA Butler Healthcare Health Care System to continue modernizing and improving, so our facility remains safe, efficient and equipped to provide high-quality care for our veterans in our service area of Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Lawrence and Mercer counties,” director Sharon Coyle said.
