At a meeting on Monday, July 13, Seven Fields borough council voted unanimously on the design of a new welcome sign to be placed at 235 Seven Fields Blvd., near the Giant Eagle in the borough.

The stone panel-type welcome sign will be double sided.

Tom Smith, borough manager, said there is no timeline on when the sign will be placed.

“Council members are excited to be able to have a sign that’s going be able to communicate with the residents the community ongoings,” said Smith.
