Mars to debut new sign on Wednesday
MARS — At Monday’s council meeting, the borough announced a new Mars sign will debut at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at the corner of Grand Avenue and Irvine Street, near Stick City Brewing Company.
Borough secretary Christine Clutter said borough and Adams Township officials will be on-site for the ceremony.
Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School students built and designed the new sign and will be present at the unveiling. School administrators and the designers’ teachers also will attend the ceremony, said Clutter.
The signs will be placed at three locations: one near Stick City Brewing Company, where the ceremony is scheduled to take place; one along Mars-Evans City Road near Finn Chiropractic; and one along Route 228 near CVS Pharmacy.
