Butler library showcasing hemlock trees

Join Cook Forest State Park environmental education specialist Dale Luthringer for a look at Pennsylvania’s champion hemlock trees. The presentation will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Butler Area Public Library, 218 N. McKean St. in Butler.
Luthringer will share where the trees are located, how they are measured, threats to their existence and how they stack up to the great hemlocks of the Smoky Mountains.
