We hear sounds all around us.

Birds talking and singing;

Wind blowing lightly through the leaves;

Cars driving on a distant highway;

And a rooster crowing far away.

The one sound missing is your voice.

We would love to hear you calling hello;

Or shouting ‘fore’ as you swing;

Sharing your thoughts and dreams as we sit and talk.

We will sing Happy Birthday as we always do

And wish that you could be with us

Watching as you blow out 45 candles!
