A Cranberry Township woman was arrested for alleged inappropriate sexual behavior with a child.

Kelly Denise Yockey, 38, was arrested Thursday, July 16 by Cranberry Township police after admitting to the Butler County Child Advocacy Center she exposed herself in front of a 7-year old child.

According to a criminal affidavit, Cranberry Township police received a ChildLine report in February alleging sexual behavior by a woman involving a child who was around 7 years old between 2022 and 2023 when it occurred.

That month, Yockey reportedly disclosed to the Butler County Child Advocacy Center that she openly and knowingly masturbated in front of the child on several occasions, according to police.

Yockey faces a felony charge of corruption of a minor and misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and open lewdness.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled on Aug. 21 before District Judge Kevin Flaherty.
