Multiple fire crews responded to a structure fire in the 1900 block of Oneida Valley Road the morning of Tuesday, June 30, according to Butler County Emergency Services.

The fire was reported around 2:50 a.m. in Concord Township and took about an hour to extinguish once crews arrived.

West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department was first on scene according to a Facebook post by the department.

According to Ryan Enscoe, fire chief with North Washington Volunteer Fire Department, there were no injuries as a result of the fire.

The fire was inside a barn on the property that had some tractors and lumber inside, Enscoe said. He described it as a “total loss.”

“We put out the bulk of the fire,” he said. “There was an extensive pile of lumber that was still burning after we left, but that is now under control.”

Enscoe said there was no damage to other structures on the property.

Petrolia and Chicora volunteer fire departments and Karns City Regional Ambulance Service also assisted on the call.
