Allegheny Health Network has appointed a new doctor to its Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

Nabeeha Mohy-ud-din, MD, a triple board-certified gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist, was named the new division chief.

Most recently serving as interim chief of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, and previously as associate chief, Dr. Mohy-ud-din has helped expand clinical programs, increase patient access to care and support physician development.

She received her medical degree from Khyber Medical University in Pakistan and earned a graduate certificate in hospital management from University of Leeds in the UK.
