Several Butler County fire departments and ambulances were sent to Scott Township, Lawrence County Thursday night, June 25, for a reported mobile home fire.

According to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch traffic, the request for county units came in around 11:00 p.m. Thursday.

Portersville-Muddy Creek Township Volunteer Fire Department and Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team were called to a mobile home at the 1800 block of Stoughton Road. The home was reportedly fully involved by the time firefighters arrived.

The two stations returned to service around midnight Friday.
