Multiple police agencies were engaged in a search Sunday night, June 21, in Cranberry Township for a suspect of an incident in Beaver County.

According to a news release from Cranberry Township Police, police are searching for a suspect involved in an incident in New Brighton, Beaver County. Police said multiple suspects fled by car to Cranberry Township.

Police were able to locate and pull over the vehicle later that evening, but one suspect fled on foot. The suspect was not found in a subsequent search, and the suspect is believed to have fled the area, police said.

Residents are asked to remain alert and report any suspicious activity, unusual behavior or information by calling 911.
