Lernerville Speedway results: Brandon Spithaler claims 1st win at track in 2026 in Sprints feature

Butler’s Brandon Spithaler won his first race of the season at Lernerville Speedway, climbing from the No. 3 starting spot to claim the checkered flag in Friday’s Peoples Sprints main feature.

He held off another Butler resident, Carl Bowser (third) and Dan Shetler (second) in the main event of the night. It is Spithaler’s second win of the season at all tracks.

Sprints points leader A.J. Flick finished fifth and holds a two-point lead in the standings over Danny Kuriger, who finished a spot behind Flick.

In the Late Models feature, Sarver’s Michael Norris won for the first time this season at Lernerville and earned his second win overall after, fending off points-leader Alex Ferree in second. Colton Flinner finished third.

Rex King Jr. won his second Lernerville race in less than a month and grew his Modifieds points lead to 10 over Garrett Krummert (fourth in the race). Ayden Cipriano, third in the standings, finished second Friday after starting in the pole position.

Jacob Dietz’s win in the Pro Stocks main pulled him within two points of leader Brett Hutira, who finished seventh Friday. It’s Dietz’s first win this year. Chris Schneider also joined Dietz from the second row at the start to finish second.
