The annual Saxonburg Fireman’s Carnival will feature a special blessing on Tuesday, June 23.

Prior to the annual pet parade, there will be a blessing of the pets in the parking lot of Saxonburg Memorial Church, 100 W. Main St. in Saxonburg.

The blessing will start at 6:15 p.m., and the pet parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Those participating in the parade may bring their animals for the blessing, according to an email from St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
