Butler Iron Bucks blank Allegheny for fourth straight win
The Butler Iron Bucks shut down the Allegheny A’s in a late Tuesday night 4-0 road win.
The victory improves Butler to 6-2 on the season, with a doubleheader coming up Saturday afternoon at Cumming Motors.
Aaron Lake threw four innings in relief of Aeden Fowler, fanning five against just two hits as three Iron Bucks pitchers combined for a four-hit shutout.
Fowler went 1-for-1 at the plate with three RBIs on a first-inning, bases-loaded single, and Dylan Smith was 2-for-3 with a run scored.
